About the Artist
Jumaqui Mamani is a unique artist, with a distinctive style that deeply connects with the heart and soul of those who observe his work. He was born on the shores of Lake Titicaca, at 4,000 meters of altitude, in Puno, Peru. His family environment was always full of art, music, and sports. From a young age, he grew up within the School of Fine Arts of Puno, where his mother worked and managed a restaurant.
With an intense passion for color, beauty, and creativity, Jumaqui knew from an early age that his destiny was to live in the world of art. His style has evolved over time thanks to his experiences in different countries. Although his roots are in South America, he spent more than a decade in France and currently resides in Miami, Florida.
For 12 years, he worked and trained with the French artist Dago, actively participating in galleries and on the artistic streets of France. There he perfected techniques for murals, caricatures, portraits, art restoration, painting, and calligraphy.
In 2013, he expanded his artistic vision with the creation of Best of Times Dance Studio, a 4,500 square foot space in Miami where he has taught salsa for over 20 years. This studio also functions as an event hall for weddings, quinceañeras, birthdays, and more.

Artistic Style
Immerse yourself in the vibrant and symbolic universe of Jumaqui Mamani's abstract art. Inspired by Andean cultural heritage, his work combines tradition and modernity in a symphony of colors, energy, and depth.
Each stroke tells a story. Each geometric figure evokes ancestral landscapes. Each work is a tribute to our connection with nature, with humanity... and with art. For example, in one of his most recent series, Jumaqui begins a visual homage to the alphabet, starting with the letter 'A', as a symbol of our rational passage through Earth. For him, life is literature, and art, its language.
- "I am Jumaqui: I paint with the soul, I dance with the heart."
- "Art in my hands, rhythm in my feet. I am Jumaqui."
- "From the Andes to the world: Jumaqui, brush and passion."
- "Jumaqui: Where art comes to life and salsa has flavor."
- "I don't just paint... I tell stories in every stroke. I am Jumaqui."
