• Schedule hours: Mon-Fri from 8 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ages: between 6-13 years old, both boys & girls.
• Subject given: Art/Dance and surprise activities every week. (Art/painting/Latin Dance/weekly contests.)
• Registration Fees: A one-time Reg/fee $50.00 & Weekly rate per Child: $150.00 and if more than 1 kid per parent: $100.00 extra per kid.
• At the end of the course there will be a showcase for all Parents to participate in their kids' performance, & awards.

Biography: Antonio Cartagena

He is one of our best strongholds, artistically born in 1990, coming from a humble family with Afro-Peruvian roots, born in the Constitutional Province of Callao (Bellavista). Having completed higher studies in the National Police of Peru and half a career in Psychology at San Martín University, art prevailed, and he consecrated himself by presenting his first hit "SIN TI" while belonging to the Peru Salsa All Star Orchestra. At the same time, he was invited to record songs like NIÑA and TENGO TODO EXCEPTO A TI by the Orchestra of the prestigious Oscar "Pitón" Sánchez, La Sensual 990, achieving greater acceptance. The work demands were immediate throughout the Peruvian coast, which is why Antonio Cartagena set important goals such as conquering other countries. This led him to produce his first solo album in 1991 with 10 tracks, highlighting songs such as; SEDÚCEME and NECESITO UN AMOR. Becoming known in countries like Colombia, Venezuela, and parts of the United States.

In 1992, he launched a fresh and romantic Salsa to the market, highlighting songs like Y QUE TIENE EL and MI DUEÑA; from then on, his internationalization was reaffirmed, being hired for a tour in the United States with his entire group, visiting places like New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Virginia, Dallas, Texas, San Diego, among others.

Then in 1993, he was hired by the prestigious international record company RMM of Mr. Ralf Mercado, one of the greatest salsa producers in the world; recording his first international album titled DIME QUE SI, featuring songs like APAGA LA LUZ and PERDONE QUERIDA. To perform on dream stages like Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and Miami Arenas, alternating with many stars such as OSCAR D LEÓN, VAN LESTER, INDIA, MARC ANTHONY, TITO PUENTE, CHEO FELICIANO, ISMAEL MIRANDA, CELIA CRUZ, DOMINGO QUIÑONEZ, RAY DE LA PAZ, TONY VEGA, RAY SEPÚLVEDA, JOHNNY RIVERA, TITO NIEVES, JOSÉ ALBERTO EL CANARIO, LUIS PERICO ORTIZ, JOVANNI HIDALGO, and an innumerable list of the greats of the salsa market. The tour continued to include CANADA, PANAMA, VENEZUELA, COLOMBIA, SANTO DOMINGO, PUERTO RICO, and ARGENTINA, facts that marked a milestone in the dizzying career of our Artist; who returned to his country after three years of coming and going; with a production titled PUNTO DE VISTA (1996), where he consecrated himself with songs SI TU NO ESTÁS and PÍDELE PERDÓN, successfully positioning himself at the threshold of his career in his own country.

Already in 1997, he wanted to impose "criollismo" by converting famous and traditional Peruvian waltzes into salsa; an album that made him known throughout the world, even in Europe, performing on stages in Germany, France, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, among others.

In the year 2000, and without stopping national and international tours, he produced a new album highlighting the song NADIE QUIEN TE QUIERA COMO YO.

Then in 2001, he traveled to New York to produce an album titled VOLVERÉ, highlighting songs like NI SIQUIERA, generating much buzz in that country and Latin America, visiting countries like the United States, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, etc. In 2005, he presented a renewed and updated product, imposing songs like SALSA REGGAE, titled NO ME DIGAS QUE NO, ranking in the top spots of our musical scene.

ANTONIO CARTAGENA is one of our best internationally recognized strongholds, who is going through his best moment, considered in salsa as the best exponent of music in his genre and winner this year of countless awards such as: Nominated for Best Performer of the year in the salsa musical genre.

ANTONIO CARTAGENA is a consecrated artist, upholding the name of Peru throughout the world.
